With over twenty years in design and advertising, David brings unrivaled experience to the Lightbulb party. He is an impassioned web evangelist, brand strategist and design innovator.
David built his first website in 1996 with the help of an Idiots Guide to HTML. He’s come on a lot since then. David is a plain-talking creative and brand strategist. He fled the world of corporate advertising to do things his way.
Client Services Director
Sophie is the driving force of Lightbulb. Sophie understands marketing and communications like the back of her hand. She is disciplined, adventurous and creatively challenging.
Sophie collects colours. No seriously. She also bakes fab cakes, but only if you are very nice to her.
Design Manager
Amy is our design project manager extraordinaire! Obsessed with detail, timing and quality, it’s Amy’s job to keep the Lightbulb spotlight focussed. Amy has a First Class Honours Degree in Advertising, Media and Design Management.
Amy’s dream destination is Paperchase and her hobby is ‘name the font’. We think that says it all!
Wordsmith
Louise has worked on all kinds of projects across a huge variety of industries – from a BAFTA award winner to small business start-ups. SEO is her specialty.
Louise has a real passion for SEO; not that she’s a techie geek or anything! She also has a pretty serious thing about shoes.
PR Specialist
Louise is the proud winner of a number of Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) regional Pride awards, and has twice been part of the CIPR Yorkshire and Lincolnshire’s In House PR Team of the Year.
As if that wasn’t enough, she shares Amy’s stationery obsession and has an enviable collection of pish-posh handbags.

Our team is comprised of a talented and experienced bunch of designers, copywriters, art workers, web developers, project managers, art directors, illustrators, film makers and photographers.
They’re led by Directors David & Sophie Henzell and Amy Tootell, our Design Manager. We like to have fun and often get together for tea and Tunnock’s!
Company Dog
Fred joined Lightbulb in August 2010. Since then his keen creative eye, vision and sense of fun have resulted in a steady rise up the ladder. Fred loves clients!
Fred enjoys eating cardboard, lemons, shoe laces, biscuits, windows, ethernet cables. We’re sure you get the gist! If dogs aren’t your thing, no worries – we can leave him at home!
